Baytown murder suspect spotted recently in College Station
The victim’s vehicle was found unoccupied last year in Robertson County, according to investigators.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - A southeast Texas man suspected of gunning down a friend last year during a verbal argument in Baytown was spotted in recent days in College Station, KBTX has confirmed.
Keshawn Elam, 19, is wanted for the shooting death of his friend, Davin Chatman, 18, in September last year, according to Baytown Police. Elam left the scene in Chatman’s vehicle after the shooting and it was later found abandoned last year in Roberson County, according to investigators.

This week new clues surfaced indicating Elam was in College Station and authorities are now searching the area, said a representative of Baytown Crime Stoppers. The organization will pay $500 for any information that leads to Elam’s arrest. He has black hair, brown eyes, weighs an estimated 110 pounds, and is 5 feet tall.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office filed murder charges against Elam, said police.
Elam, a native of Port Arthur, Texas, could also be in the Beaumont-Port Arthur area, said a Baytown Crime Stoppers.
