United Way, Lions Pride Sports team up for ‘Fight 2 Unite’
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - For the second year in a row United Way of the Brazos Valley and Lions Pride Sports are partnering together to host an event for the community.
The nonprofit organization and pro-wrestling promotion will host “Fight 2 Unite” at Edible Field Ballpark in Bryan on April 14.
Fan favorites like Mia Friday, Trent Mercer, Hastur and more will make appearances at the event.
Peggi Goss, President and CEO of United Way of the Brazos Valley, thinks the event exposes their organization to a different audience.
“We could bring in people who wouldn’t normally go to a wrestling event and we could also bring in people who wouldn’t normally be exposed to the work that United Way does.”
All of the proceeds will go to the United Way of the Brazos Valley.
